Winterbirds presents Rejoice: The Roots of Shaker Musical Expression, a workshop focusing on the style and theological context of Shaker singing. Winterbirds will perform recently-discovered hymns composed in the early 1800s by Sister Eunice Freehart, a resident of South Union and a former slave. The workshop will take place in the historic 1824 Centre House.
